Luna on Snazzy Sport
Luna is a color that reminds me of the soft moonlight. Its also reminiscent of Annabelle Lanyon's portrayal of Oona, a fairy, in Ridley Scott's 1985 movie Legend.
This beautiful color starts with a very light gray base that has the slightest hint of a green undertone. It is the speckled lightly with ecrus and grays. The pictures do not do this color any justice. It is just stunning in person.
There are no dye lots- this image is a stock image of the color. Please keep in mind that color distribution and saturation will vary greatly from skein to skein, from base to base, and from what is shown in these pictures.
Please keep in mind that ecru is not a primary color and can sometimes break adding blue and red spots to the skein.
If using more than one skeins for a project I recommend blending the skeins as you work.
Listing is for yarn only. Any other items depicted is not included in the sale of this colorway.

I do a lot research to make sure that all of the bases that I carry are ethically sourced from reputable, cruelty-free, mulesing-free farms and mills from around the world. My yarns are dyed using professional acid dyes in smoke-free environment in a dedicated space that I affectionately call my dye lab. And I also wash all of my yarns after dyeing them with a lavender wool wash. However, while my dye studio is pet free, I do have 4 cats and cat hair a mysterious thing and seems to find its way into all places.
Currently I am working on the discontinuation of a lot of yarn bases and I will also be bringing in a few new ones.
Recommended Wash Instructions For All Yarns: Gently hand wash in cold water and dry flat. Some colors may also bleed the first time the yarn is washed. Please keep in mind that non-superwash treated wools tend to bleed colors more than superwash treated wool.
Additional information as of July 2020: Because of Covid-19, supplies of milled yarn is limited as some mills have had to close or are running at half capacity at this particular time. This is not necessarily a bad thing as it ensures the safety of their employees and the product that they in turn are sending to us. This is why all new colors are this point will be preorders. If you are looking for a specific quantity on a specific base for that special project please do not hesitate to contact me for a custom order.
