This listing is for one hand stamped aluminum cuff stacking bracelets. The dimensions of the bracelet flat is 152mm (6") x 12.7mm (.50"). Inside diameter is approximately 2 1/4 of an inch when bent into cuff shape. I have a wrist that measures 6 1/2" inches and this cuff fits perfectly on me.

How To Care For Your Hand Stamped Aluminum Piece

Aluminum is a lightweight metal that will not rust or turn your skin green. But that doesn’t mean that the aluminum wont require care to stay shiny and bright. The natural oils from your skin can tarnish or oxidize the metal. Aluminium is also soft and can easily scratch so I do not recommend using an abrasive cleaner or scouring pads which will only further scratch the metal. One of the best things you can use is a pro polishing pad which utilizes a non-scratch micro-abrasive technology to return the shine and luster to your metal piece. You can easily find these types of polishing pads online. Be aware that the darkened stamped areas can fade over time with continued use or if your jewelry is worn while swimming, washing, etc.

 How to Adjust Your Bracelet:

Many cuff bracelets are adjustable thanks to the soft properties of the metal. And in general you can open or close your bracelet about a 1/4 inch larger or smaller. However, please do not put the aluminum bracelet on your wrist and then try to adjust it by squeeze it. When you do this it puts a lot of stress of the center of the cuff which can eventually weaken it.  You should also be very careful when you adjust it so that you don't end up making it an odd shape or damaging it. You should bend the bracelet while it is off your wrist by encircling your hand firmly over one end and then gently bend this portion of the bracelet. You can then repeat this on the other side.

Here is a list of all of the yarn bases that are carried and their fiber content. Please keep in mind that color distribution and saturation will vary greatly from base to base and from what is depicted in each listing.

I do a lot research to make sure that all of the bases that I carry are ethically sourced from reputable, cruelty-free, mulesing-free farms and mills from around the world. My yarns are dyed using professional acid dyes in smoke-free, pet free, and dedicated space that I affectionately call my dye lab. However, I do have 4 cats and cat hair a mysterious thing and seems to find its way into all places.

Currently I am working on the discontinuation of a lot of yarn bases and I will also be bringing in a few new ones.

Additional information as of July 2020: Because of Covid-19, supplies of milled yarn is limited as some mills have had to close or are running at half capacity at this particular time. This is not necessarily a bad thing as it ensures the safety of their employees and the product that they in turn are sending to us.

Fingering Weight

*NEW* Aurora: (possibly limited edition at this time)

This a 4 ply fingering base yarn that consist of 70% Superwash Merino Wool and 30% Nylon. This super wash merino wool has a subtle softness and warmth while the extra nylon content gives this yarn some added strength. This really reminds me of the touch and feel of a non superwash yarn but has the benefits of the being superwash treated. Comes in skeins of 437 yards/ 100 grams.

Eclipse Fingering: is a 2-ply fingering weight yarn that is 100% Peruvian Highland Wool. Yarn comes in skeins of 437 yds/ 100 grams. This beautiful base has the look and feel of handspun yarn. This is not a superwash base so please keep in mind that the colors dyed on this base will be more muted in tone and may bleed more when wet. I suggest hand washing in cold water with a little wool wash and then dry flat.

Floofy: this is a singly ply Superwash Merino Slub yarn wrapped with a strand of nylon. Yarn base is a blend of 90% Superwash Merino and 10% Nylon. Comes in skeins of 438 yards /100 grams.

*NEW* Meridian: I love that this base is an eco-friendly option made from 100% fine organic merino wool. This single ply yarn base is toasty warm with a crisp structure and delightful softness. This is not a superwash base so please keep in mind that the colors dyed on this base will be more muted in tone and may bleed when wet. I suggest hand washing in cold water with a little wool wash and then dry flat. Each skein is 437 yds/ 100 grams

Snug: is a 4-ply blend of 75% superwash Merino wool and 25% Nylon. The springy superwash merino makes this yarn super soft to touch. Yarn can be machine washed and tumble dry low. Each skein of 462 yds/ 100 grams. This base also comes in mini skeins of 92 yds/ 20 grams

Note: Because mill production in some areas has slowed down due to Covid business precautions, I am able to get the same Snug base from two different suppliers at this time. If my first supplier is sold out, but I am able to get some from a second supplier.  But you may notice that while those hanks are the same exact fiber content and yardage, those skeins are a little bit softer and fluffier than the Snug base you may be used to getting. To help with that distinction on the website I will be referring to those as "Snug 2" when giving you different yarn base options to choose from.
